The Noticer by Andy Andrews
All you need is a little perspective. This is a fast read by Andy Andrews. The Noticer follows "Andy" from his life under the piers to better things. More characters are introduced during the journey, my favourite Jones, not Mr. Jones, just Jones. The perspectives that are giving in the book can apply to everyday life. Be careful though, you may have problems separating the fiction from non-fiction.
I received this book some time ago, and read almost all of it the first day i had it. If my little boy Simon had not awoken during the night i would have finished it. The author Andy Andrews has quite a life story. I read his biography before i read the book, and for the first few chapters of the book it was really strange. I had to keep reminding myself that the book was fiction. You will need to read it and see if you have the same problem. I know allot of people talk about page turners, this book for me really was. The stories about the other characters lives that is in the book interested me allot. The perspective that Jones, (not Mr Jones, just Jones) brings to the people he talks to is very obvious and easy to grasp.
Even though the book is fiction the perspectives can and should be applied to our lives. I don't want to give much away, but you will get a perspective on dating, business, life, marriage problems and a few websites to visit to get building ideas for the kids. I do plan on trying to find plans to build the tree house. I think that would be awesome and the kids would like it as well. Just need to get that new house first. :-D
I would like to hear more about what you think about the book, so post your comments. You can also visit The Noticer Project for more information.
