Feeling better

Well i am feeling better today. I took my scanner home to hook it up to a linux box that i had at the house. The scanner has been in an office that i visit often for about 3 years just sitting there doing nothing. The setup was very easy. I went to groups.google.com and looked for advice on how to configure the Adaptec card that i had. Some simple steps were given, i did them loaded the kernel module and fired up sane, and things just worked. I scanned in some pics i hope to get them on the site here soon. I prefer digital over scanned images. I think i will start looking for a digital still camera for underwater use. :D I got a new movie today Pirates of the Caibbean. I think i might watch it tonight. I want to get my movies in a database so that my family and friends can borrow them and i can know where and who has them. I found this cool program on the net called opendb I am going to get it loaded up on my server and start entering my movies. This is going to take some time. My bro chris is gone this week so i have 2 work out by myself. I have to finish that visqueen job in the garage. My dad let me use his electric staple gun. That made the first part really easy. My dog abby did something really cool. Chris and i were going to leave and go to work monday after lunch. So when we put our jackets on Abby went and got into her kennel. I put her in her kennel so that she will not destroy my house, not that she would, i just don't know what she would do if she was left to roam the house. I think once she is a 1 1/2 2 years old i will put the kennel away and let her roam the house when i am not home. Well anyway back to what i was saying. I didn't have to tell her to get into her kennel, she just figured i guess i am going to have to go here so i might as well go now. Because of her doing that she got a treat. Talking about treats i still have some ribs in the frige that i need to eat. Abby likes getting the bones when people are done with them. I think i will have ribs tonight. I am going to have to put working on my website on the back burner for a while. I have other things that i need to work on. Well that is all for now.
